playtime

i love playing with my toys. i like reaching for them, holding them, staring at them, tasting them, shaking them, pushing them and banging them. plus i think it entertains my daddy. he likes taking pictures of me playing!

my sheep

my saucer has a sheep i like to reach for. it's a challenge. every time i would grab it, it would snap back into place. i finally was able to get break off the sheep. but i don't think i was supposed to do that. daddy did not seem pleased.

happy daddy's day

happy daddy's day! i love my daddy - he is the greatest. he plays with me, he naps with me, he reads books to me, he baths me, and he feeds me. my daddy rocks!

block party

yesterday was a fun day. i was outside at my neighborhood block party. there were lots of kids there but they were all older than me. i had fun playing with my friend erica. she is just like me...extremely cute!

six months

can you believe i am over six months old now? i went to my doctor for a checkup and for some shots. i do not like shots...luckily i only had three shots today. i am just over 15 pounds and 26 inches tall. my doctor told me that i am a perfectly healthly baby girl!

waking up

i think i move a lot when i am sleeping. sometimes, when i wake up, i am in different part of the bed than where i started. i woke up this afternoon from my nap all scrunched up in one side of my bed, head against one corner, and my foot pressing the opposite side.

sitting by myself

i am a pro at sitting up. i rarely topple over now. i like playing with my toys while sitting or better yet, playing with mommy and daddy!

face down

i sometimes like to sleep face down, with my face resting on my hands. it doesn't look comfortable, but it is. my hands make the perfect pillow!

sweet potatoes

i made some strange faces the first time i ate sweet potatoes. it's a very different taste from milk and i did not know what to think of it!
