urban toddler

my daddy takes me to at least one playgroup every week. one of my favorite places that we go to is urban toddler. i love it when we go there. they have all kinds of fun toys to play with, and soft mats to crawl and climb on. plus i get to meet other babies!

three monkeys

shuk, a friend of my daddy, gave me my favorite monkey. once she found out how much i loved it, she went out and bought me two more. isn't that so sweet!

ava

this is my friend ava. she is exactly 1 day older than me. we get together once a week to play. she is a very happy baby - always smiling!

evelyn and michael

phew, i am tired today...i spent the weekend in new york city visiting my grandparents, playing with my uncle brian and auntie kate, and going to my auntie evelyn's wedding. the ceremony and reception was beautiful! the weekend was fun but traveling (and the lack of naps) made me exhausted.

nine months

boo! i had a doctor's appointment today and i had to get a shot. :( luckily, it was only 1 shot, not 3 or 4 like my previous visits. i also got measured and weighed. i am over 27 inches tall and weigh almost 17 pounds. i am a little small compared to other babies but that's okay - my parents too are small compared to other parents!

i understand

now that i am nine months old, i am beginning to understand my parental units. today, daddy asked me to bounce in my chair and then demonstrate the sign for changing diapers. i nailed it!

laura

laura spent the weekend visiting us. it was a lot of fun playing with her - she's a sweetie. this is the second time she has driven up to visit me. the highlight of our weekend was our excursion to IKEA. wow - i have never seen so many people!

milk sign

my mommy and daddy can be so dense. they just don't seem to understand my cries sometimes. so i have started using baby sign language to let them know what i want. this is what i do when i want to let them know i want some milk!

grass

we went for a picnic to celebrate mommy and daddy's wedding anniversary. there were so many new and interesting things to look at, hear, smell and touch. my favorite was grass - i loved pulling it up and throwing it in the air!
