sushi

my mommy, my daddy and i went out to dinner last night. we went to a japanese restaurant. it was interesting...the sushi bar was really pretty and colorful, but i am not so sure about eating raw stuff that used to swim in the sea. luckily, i am too young to "enjoy" the delicacy. besides, i am happy eating pureed and finely cut up food - why would i want to give that up?

sleeping through the night

my mommy and daddy are so proud of me! last month, i started sleeping through the night. i used to wake up several times every night to get my diapers changed and to nurse, but now i sleep 11 to 12 hours before getting up. and i used to cry a lot in my crib but not anymore. now i love sleeping and playing in it!

chuck e cheese

daddy and i went to chuck e cheese today. talk about a stimulating environment - bright lights, dazzling colors and lots of noise.

i liked playing there but my favorite thing we did was getting a sketch of daddy and i together. he takes such good care of me. i love my daddy so much!

first words

my parental units do not always understand my babbling. so i am now practicing talking. i can say only a few words like dada, hi, baby, duck and quack. but i am learning new words every day.

can you tell i love ducks? i enjoy watching ducks in a pond, and playing with my rubber duckie in my bathtub.

exploring

i love exploring...here i am crawling inside my saucer instead of sitting in it. it's very different!

two teeth

do you see my two baby teeth? they help me bite and chew - it's great! they really help when i am eating fruit. i wonder how many more teeth i will get...it hurts every time a new tooth comes up.
