happy daddy's day

happy daddy's day! i love my daddy - he is the greatest. he plays with me, he naps with me, he reads books to me, he baths me, and he feeds me. my daddy rocks!

block party

yesterday was a fun day. i was outside at my neighborhood block party. there were lots of kids there but they were all older than me. i had fun playing with my friend erica. she is just like me...extremely cute!

six months

can you believe i am over six months old now? i went to my doctor for a checkup and for some shots. i do not like shots...luckily i only had three shots today. i am just over 15 pounds and 26 inches tall. my doctor told me that i am a perfectly healthly baby girl!

waking up

i think i move a lot when i am sleeping. sometimes, when i wake up, i am in different part of the bed than where i started. i woke up this afternoon from my nap all scrunched up in one side of my bed, head against one corner, and my foot pressing the opposite side.

sitting by myself

i am a pro at sitting up. i rarely topple over now. i like playing with my toys while sitting or better yet, playing with mommy and daddy!

face down

i sometimes like to sleep face down, with my face resting on my hands. it doesn't look comfortable, but it is. my hands make the perfect pillow!

sweet potatoes

i made some strange faces the first time i ate sweet potatoes. it's a very different taste from milk and i did not know what to think of it!

sleeping position

i found a new sleeping position...on my stomach. i used to sleep on my back but now i often take my naps while lying on my tummy. it's comfortable plus i don't wake up with bad case of bed head. why didn't i discover this position sooner?

new food

my diet is getting varied. until now it was either milk or formula. but last week, i started eating rice cereal. i also starting sitting in my high chair. i am learning how to eat solid foods so i make a mess when i eat. thank goodness for bibs!

stroller

i usually fall asleep during rides in my stroller. it is so relaxing and peaceful, plus i love the fresh air! sometimes i pull my hat down to help block out the light. i have several strollers but daddy has a favorite one he likes to use. he refers to that one as the buckeye stroller because it is scarlet and grey.

cousin maia

my cousin maia, her daddy, and our grandfather visited me this past weekend. it was great. they all love holding and hugging me. and maia is just like me...she loves to play!

saucer

i love playing in my saucer. it has lots of cool toys built in, plus the seat spins! adult seats are not as fun. i am strong enough now that i can spin myself around in it. last week, i did a full 360!

my uncle's big fat korean wedding

i went to my first wedding this past weekend. wow - i have never seen so many people in one room. it seemed like everyone wanted to hold me and play with me. i had a lot of fun! but i didn't want to steal the spotlight from my uncle brian and my new auntie kate. it was their day. i am happy they found each other...i can't wait for some baby cousins!

happy mommy's day

to all the mommies out there, happy mommy's day! this is the card i got for my mommy. she gives me lots of love, attention, and milk. i can't ask for anything more. my mommy is the best!

supermodel

my daddy told me that he wants to spend more time with me so as of today, he is now a part-time employee. i am not sure what exactly that means but it sounds like i will get more daddy time. yeah! :) today i got to spend all day with him. we had lots of fun, playing and napping together. it was gloomy outside so we didn't go outside like we normally do. but we did play the supermodel game, where i pretend to be a world famous supermodel, and my daddy pretends to be a renowned fashion photographer. so much fun!
